Rainbow Equus Meadows - Landokonig Foals

Landkönig has produced, from his first foal crop, a licensed Hanoverian stallion son and in 2002 broke the record for producing the highest selling jumper ever in the history at the Hanoverian Elite auctions in Germany. Lantinus, a 4 yr old gelding sold for Euro 215,000 also setting the record price for the Hanoverian auction year, something never done by a jumper!

Lots of excitement at the October Hanoverian Elite sale 2002 when new records were set. Lantinus, a 4 year old Landkönig gelding, sold for a record 215,000 EURO which made him the most expensive jumper ever sold in the Niedersachsen Halle. It was a year record as well as an all time record for a Hanoverian jumping horse at the Elite sales. It was also the first time in over a decade a jumper outsold a dressage horse in an Elite sale.

Markus Beerbaum, Lars Nieberg, Rene Tebbel and other Grand Prix riders were there bidding to help achieve this top price when he sold to Marc Ostendorf for 215,000 Euro. Lantinus - Landkönig/Argentinus

Landkönig bred over 100 mares his first year at stud, when he stood with Hans Bahr, and has over 70 registered Hanoverian offspring in Germany.

Landchampion out of a Matrose/Gralsritter mare from Landkönig's first foalcrop was licensed as a stallion by the German Hanoverian verband as a 2 1/2 year old.

Landkönig definitely transfers his sweet easy going disposition, athletic abilities, modern type and color.
