Coriander showed exceptional talent as a jumper at his performance test but it was apparent that he was equally suited for dressage. He was successfully shown under Wolfgang Schade for the Holsteiner Verband, through International Grand Prix.

Coriander produced many States Premium mares and 8 approved stallion sons, including Cappuccino, Carlino (purchased by Margit Ott-Crepin), Corcovado and others. He has many Grand Prix performing offspring in both jumping and dressage. Coriander has been known to produce very ridable horses with exceptional movement and jumping ability.

Coriander – Corcovado’s sire, is probably best known and respected for producing the quietest minds in Holstein. He ranked as the leading sire of sport horses for all of Germany in his age group three years in a row. Many offspring at Grand Prix Level, mostly jumpers but at least 10 in dressage.

Corcovado’s dam, States Premium Mare Caletta VII (Königspark xx – Fernando – Landgraf I), received the top score of “9” for type. She descends from the much sought after performance Holsteiner Stamm 474A which has offered excellent breeding for jumpers, hunters, dressage and eventing. Caletta is also the dam of Verband Auction high selling jumper prospect by Contender, and dam of the stallion Concerto Grosso. This line also produced the exceptional licensed stallions Cicero and Cavalier. She produced elegant gorgeous types much like her sire Königspark xx.

Königspark xx is an important Thoroughbred improvement sire, who’s notable offspring include the approved stallion Kilian, and Trakehner performance test winner Hertzruf. Königspark xx has passed on his drop dead gorgeous conformation to Caletta VII, who has stamped her foals with impeccable looks and beautiful faces. This is reflected in Corcovado producing over 60% Premiums thus far. Charlie has been presented to and was approved by Oldenburg NA /ISR and RPSI. He has not yet been presented to the AHHA or other registries which we may pursue later in the year.

Corcovado offers an incredible value in breeding. His pedigree produced world class performance horses and they are of good type. This is showing in his offspring.
